Our hunger for good food led us to go to Montreal a 7 hour drive from where we live. We were so curious about this restaurant called Au Pied de Cochon we made reservations a month before we even went there. When we got there the place was packed there were even people waiting to get in and that made us more excited we even looked at each other with smiles in our eyes like a small kid on Christmas day. We told each other this is gonna be GOOD :) yup Mike and I are foodies which makes us great together. We share this love of food and hunger for good food so we love having food adventures. Servers were great, we started with Cromesquis de foie gras when it was served it looked like a small breaded meatball the server told us to eat it in one bite and that it was hot. So we ate it and this is where looks can be deceiving applies wow when it was inside my mouth and I had that bite taste exploded like amazing my eyes lit up Mike and I looked at each other just in awe of that tiny ball full of flavor. We ordered foie Gras poutine which was heavenly and happy pork chop because I love pork chops. It was worth the trip a must try if you ever visit Montreal.
